The Youth Council

The Youth Council is an advisory body of the Council of the Municipality of Stip in the Republic of Macedonia founded by the initiative of the Government. It has been actively working for two years in the field of the Youth; giving young people the opportunity to work for the local government and to be decision makers for Youth issues.

The Council works for the interests of young people. The general fields of their work are focused on improving and increasing youth participation, youth activism, and networking of youth, as well as promoting and providing non-formal education and soft skills training. The council has already implemented more than 80 projects for the Youth in the city.

The Council’s main goals are related to Leadership, Communication, Conclusion, Start-up businesses, Strategy of the youth and the Education of the youth in the first place.

Recently Youth Council has worked on improving the youth dialogue and policies, solving contemporary youth problems and issues, reducing hate speech among youth, empowering youth to start a business and similar activities.
