Ticket2Europe is an NGO established in 2016 and based in Pontevedra, Spain. From the beginning, the aim of the organization has been to empower and support youngsters in their search for future opportunities in two different ways.
On one hand, it focuses its work on spreading different types of academic and professional opportunities around Europe (scholarships, internships, job vacancies, grants, Erasmus+ projects). The target group being youngsters aged 18 to 35 years old, the organization puts special attention to the use of social media through their website http://ticket2europe.eu/ and social networks (Facebook and Twitter, mainly) to present and spread the activities.
On the other hand, Ticket2Europe also manages numerous educational, training and social projects at different levels (local, regional, national and international), aiming at improving the competencies (that is to say, knowledge, skills, and attitudes) of youngsters from different communities towards topics such as human rights, social inclusion, peace building, conflict resolution, youth employability, entrepreneurship and many others. The main mission of the organization is to open up new paths and possibilities for young people, always making a strong effort to contribute to the construction and development of the European identity and active citizenship.
Ticket2Europe works with many different European programs focused on assisting youngsters and promoting their competencies and careers. This is why the organization has a growing experience in submitting projects within the Erasmus+ program and becoming partners with organizations from other countries in Europe and beyond. The organization’s activities and projects are focused on several areas related to European values and interests such as human rights, social inclusion, peace building, conflict resolutions, social minorities, youth employability, entrepreneurship, etc.
All the team members have a large experience as project managers/coordinators within different programs such as the previous Youth in Action, Erasmus Plus, E-Twinning, FP7, Horizon 2020, etc. Therefore, when they are part of international projects the team proves high skills and expertise in leading and facilitating groups of young people, planning and organizing travel and managing online networking and communication.
